Your intentions stay yours
Last updated: June 2026
This policy applies to the Carpe iOS app and the Carpe website at rlysimpl.com/carpe. Carpe is built around a simple idea: your daily intentions and reflections are personal, and they should stay that way.
What Carpe stores
Carpe saves your daily intention, completion status, carry-forward choices, and end-of-day reflections on your device. We do not operate a server that receives or stores the content you write in the app.
No account required
Carpe does not require you to create an account, sign in, or provide your name, email address, or phone number to use the app.
Optional iCloud Sync
If you enable iCloud Sync, your Carpe data is encrypted and synced through your Apple iCloud account between your devices. That sync is handled by Apple, not by us. We never receive a copy of your synced data.
No in-app tracking
The Carpe app does not include third-party analytics SDKs, advertising identifiers, or marketing trackers. We do not sell personal data — and we do not collect the content of your intentions or reflections.
Website analytics
This marketing website may use privacy-focused analytics to understand general traffic patterns. That analytics does not include the personal content you enter in the app.
What we do not do
- Collect or store your daily intentions on our servers
- Track your location in the background
- Profile you for advertising
- Require an account or sign-in
- Share your app content with third parties
