Terms of Service for Steady

The service

Steady is a wellness companion. With your permission it reads Apple Health to help you notice patterns in stress, sleep, fasting, cycle, nutrition, fitness and related habits. Features may change as the app evolves.

Not a medical device

Steady is a personal wellness tool, not a medical device. It does not diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease or condition. Readings, scores and chat answers are for noticing everyday patterns only. They are not medical, clinical or professional advice. Talk to a qualified clinician about your health.

Your data

Health readings, notes and history stay on your device. Steady does not create an account for you and does not run a server that stores your health content. Steady reads Apple Health with your permission and writes nothing back except the water you choose to log. Chat uses Apple Intelligence on device, and Apple’s Private Cloud Compute when a larger model is needed. The coach only sees metrics you attach.

You are responsible for the content you enter and for keeping backups of your device if you want a copy outside the app. See our Privacy Policy for the site-wide summary.

Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse Steady, interfere with its normal operation, reverse engineer the app except where permitted by law, or use the service in any unlawful way. Do not rely on Steady in a medical emergency.

Purchases

Steady may offer optional paid features through the Apple App Store. If you reinstall or change devices, restore purchases from Settings in the app. Billing, cancellation and refunds for App Store charges are handled by Apple. See Restore purchases for how to do that.

Availability and changes

We aim to keep Steady reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. We may update, suspend or discontinue features with or without notice. We may also update these terms from time to time; continued use after changes means you accept the revised terms.

Disclaimer

Steady is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. Health metrics depend on Apple Health and the sensors or apps that write there; values may be incomplete or delayed. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Rly Simpl disclaims warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Rly Simpl will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits or goodwill arising from your use of Steady.

Apple App Store

If you downloaded Steady from the Apple App Store, your use is also subject to Apple’s Licensed Application End User License Agreement and other Apple policies. Apple is not responsible for the app or its content.
