Need a hand with Steady?

Restore purchases

If you reinstall Steady or move to a new device, open Settings in the app and choose Restore Purchases. Sign in with the same Apple Account you used to buy. Apple handles the receipt; Steady does not store payment details.

For billing or refund questions about an App Store charge, use Apple’s purchase support with the Apple Account that made the purchase.

Apple Health access

Steady reads Apple Health with your permission. If charts look empty, check Settings → Health → Data Access & Devices → Steady, and allow the metrics you want shown. Steady writes nothing back to Apple Health except the water you log.

Apple Watch

You do not need an Apple Watch. Steady reads whatever writes to Apple Health — Watch, ring, scale or another sensor. The Watch app adds stress, sleep, box breathing with haptics and complications. Phone and watch sync over Watch Connectivity, not a Steady server.

Chat and Apple Intelligence

The coach runs on Apple Intelligence on your iPhone, and inside Apple’s Private Cloud Compute when a larger model helps. There is no Steady server. It only sees the metrics and timeframe you attach. Chat is English-only for now.

Steady is a wellness tool for noticing everyday patterns. It does not diagnose or treat any condition. If you are worried about your health, contact a clinician. Do not use Steady in an emergency — call your local emergency number.

Reporting a problem

Email [email protected] with the app version, iOS version, device model and the steps to reproduce. Do not send Apple passwords, payment card details, or your full Health export unless we ask for a specific screenshot.
